How do I pay?

No payment is taken on the website. Once you submit your order request, I’ll review the details and email you an invoice with clear payment instructions. Work starts after payment has cleared.

For larger projects such as e-commerce sites or custom web apps, staged payments can be arranged. Smaller fixed-price services are generally paid in full before work begins.

Every service shows a realistic delivery estimate. A starter website typically takes 5–7 working days, a business website 7–10 working days, and larger builds such as e-commerce or custom apps are scoped individually.

Let me know your deadline when you order. I’ll be honest about whether it can be met without cutting corners. Rush work may incur an additional fee.

Delays usually happen when content (text, images, logins) isn’t provided promptly, or when the scope grows after the order is confirmed. Keeping communication clear helps everything stay on track.

Are revisions included?

Yes. Each fixed-price service includes a reasonable round of revisions once the first draft is delivered. The goal is to get the details right, not to rebuild the project from scratch.

What counts as a revision?

A revision is a set of focused changes to text, colours, images or layout within the agreed scope. A complete redesign or adding major new features would be treated as additional work.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

That depends on how the site is built. Static sites are handed over as code and are best updated through me or a developer. If you need a content-managed site, let me know and we can build it that way from the start.

What do you need before work can start?

At minimum: a clear brief, your business details, and any content you already have (logo, images, text). The order form walks you through exactly what to provide.

Do I need to write all the website text?

You know your business best, so your own wording is ideal. If you’re stuck, I can help refine or rewrite what you provide, but I don’t offer full copywriting as a standalone service.

What if I don’t have a logo or images yet?

Logo design is available as a separate service. For images, I can work with whatever you have — phone photos are fine for many trades — or guide you on what to capture.

Do you need access to my domain or existing accounts?

For most website builds, yes — I’ll need access to your domain registrar, existing hosting, or any accounts we’re connecting to (Google Business Profile, social media, booking tools, etc.). This is handled securely and only when needed.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. A monthly Website Maintenance Plan is available for updates, security monitoring and small changes. One-off updates are also possible at an hourly rate.

What happens if something breaks?

Get in touch and I’ll look at it as soon as I can. Maintenance-plan clients get priority for fixes.

Will my website appear on Google straight away?

I set up the technical basics for search engines, but ranking takes time and depends on your content, competition and whether you actively maintain your online presence. I also offer Google Search Console setup and SEO reporting as add-ons.
